Route
Gathering begins 8 A.M. at:
Fort Washington Heights Presbyterian
Church
21 Wadsworth Avenue, Washington Heights,
NY (Corner of 174th Streets)

Opening Ceremony/Invocation begins
Marching Begins at 10 AM Sharp
First Leg of the Route
Starting
from the Church/Wadsworth Avenue to the corner of 174th Street
Turn
Right and across onto the west sidewalk of Broadway
On Broadway
walk southbound to
155th
Street turn Left/Eastbound
Across
the 155th Street Bridge to 154th Street
Turn
Left and cross the street into the Colonel Charles Young Triangle Park
(5
minute water break and regrouping in the park)
Second Leg
Walk
through the park and turn Right/Southbound
Walk
to the corner of Adam Clayton Powell Blvd and 153rd Street
Turn
Left/Eastbound and cross Adam Clayton Powell
Turn
Left/Northbound into and over the Macomb’s Dam Bridge to 161st Street
Turn Right onto 161st Street and walk Eastbound to
Grand Concourse

Bronx Borough President, Ruben Diaz, Jr. will welcome the marchers and the
families of the victims, and will hold a press conference followed by a lunch
break

stop will take approximately 40 minutes)

Southbound
on Grand Concourse to 149th Street
Turn
Left/Eastbound to Third Avenue
Turn
Right/Southbound to 139th Street
Cross
onto Third Ave and turn Left/Southbound
Over
the Third Avenue Bridge and walkup the stairs and over to
Lexington
Avenue and
Cross
onto 129 Street/Westbound
(5
minute water break and regrouping at 129th Street)

this point approximately 2.6 miles from start of Second Leg)
Fourth Leg
Continue
on 129th Street/Westbound to
Park
Avenue and cross the street
Turn
Left/Southbound on Park Avenue to
125th
Street
Turn
Right/Westbound to
Harlem
State Building Plaza/Adam Clayton Powell Blvd

Left/Eastbound on 125th Street

to Lexington Avenue

Right/Southbound onto Lexington
Walk
to 106 Street then make a right on 106th Street to
St. Cecilia Church (East 106th Street between Lexington and Park Avenue)
